Trump Sons Invest in ASP Isotopes’ Quantum Leap Energy as Uranium Startup Raises $64 Million in Convertible Notes

Quantum Leap Energy LLC, a uranium enrichment subsidiary of ASP Isotopes Inc., has attracted major investors—including Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr.—in a fresh funding round that underscores renewed interest in nuclear technology. The private sale of convertible notes has so far raised about $64.3 million, with the company targeting up to $100 million as it continues to engage investors in the U.S. and overseas.

ASP Isotopes' UK arm, Quantum Leap Energy, is advancing HALEU production—key to next-gen nuclear power.

According to insiders, the notes value Quantum Leap Energy (QLE) at roughly $400 million before new funds are added. The lead investor in the round is American Ventures, a firm affiliated with Dominari Holdings Inc., a boutique investment bank headquartered in Trump Tower. Both Trump sons serve as advisers and investors with Dominari and have taken part in QLE’s offering.

Proceeds from the sale will support the development of advanced laser enrichment facilities designed to produce nuclear isotopes more efficiently and cost-effectively than traditional methods. A portion of the funds will go toward QLE’s ongoing projects in South Africa, which aim to enhance the availability of materials critical to the clean energy transition.

This marks another addition to the Trump family’s growing business portfolio. Donald Trump Jr. recently became a partner at 1789 Capital, an investment firm backing ventures in rare earth materials, aerospace, and cryptocurrency mining.

The current funding round, arranged by Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. for U.S. investors and Ocean Wall Ltd. for international participants, is expected to close by November 10, pending standard conditions. Once finalized, the new convertible notes will automatically replace previous promissory notes issued earlier this year.

Looking ahead, ASP Isotopes intends to take Quantum Leap Energy public through a direct listing, potentially as early as this quarter. A successful debut could boost the company’s valuation beyond its current figures.

With strong investor interest, cutting-edge enrichment technology, and global momentum for nuclear energy, Quantum Leap Energy is emerging as a key player in the next generation of clean energy innovation.
