Gensyn Delphi Launches AI Settled Information Markets

Gensyn has launched Delphi, an AI-settled platform that has already processed millions in testnet trading volume. The rollout introduces a new market structure where outcomes are determined by AI rather than centralized operators.

The a16z crypto-backed network announced Wednesday that Delphi enables creators to deploy niche information markets with automated settlement. Built on a Layer 2 using the OP Stack, the system uses predefined AI models to resolve outcomes, with revenue distributed in USD Coin (USDC). Market creators are initially whitelisted, while trading is open to all users ahead of a broader rollout.

Can AI Settled Markets Compete With Prediction Platforms?

The launch positions Delphi as an alternative to established platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi, which collectively process billions in monthly trading volume. Gensyn argues those platforms rely on centralized decision-making for listings and dispute resolution, while Delphi removes intermediaries through verifiable AI execution. The model targets long-tail markets where specialized knowledge can drive pricing efficiency.

“These are not prediction markets, they are information markets,” the team said, emphasizing that outcomes are resolved by AI models selected at market creation.

CEO Ben Fielding added that the approach aims to unlock creator-owned markets that centralized platforms would not support, with creators earning a 1.5% fee on trading volume if markets settle successfully.

Still, the system depends on trust in AI verification mechanisms. Gensyn said its reproducible execution environment allows anyone to audit model outputs across different hardware setups, ensuring consistent results. The protocol also applies a 0.5% fee on trading volume to support its yet-to-be-launched native AI token, introducing a built-in value accrual mechanism.

But can AI-driven settlement maintain integrity as market complexity increases? The next catalyst will be Delphi’s mainnet launch in the coming weeks, alongside expanded creator access and early liquidity formation across its initial markets.
