Binance Wallet Adds Gas-Free Prediction Market Trading

Prediction market volume exceeded $20 billion in March, according to data, marking a 1,566% increase from early 2025 averages. The surge highlights accelerating capital flow into event-based trading, pushing major intermediaries to expand access.

Binance has now moved beyond testing. The company announced a broader rollout of prediction markets within Binance Wallet through an integration with Predict.fun, enabling gas-free trading on BNB Smart Chain. Users can access markets with one click, place market and limit orders, and fund positions directly from existing balances.

Can Gas-Free Trading Accelerate Prediction Market Adoption?

The expansion places Binance alongside other large platforms entering the segment. In March 2026, Kalshi recorded $10.98 billion in trading volume, while Polymarket reported $10.04 billion, up 26.4% month over month. But Binance’s decision to subsidize gas fees introduces a cost dynamic competitors have yet to match.

Binance said the feature requires users to create a dedicated Prediction Account, which generates a Keyless Wallet using multi-party computation technology. The firm clarified it does not act as the market counterparty and noted the service operates outside oversight from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority or other regulators.

“We are beta testing in-app access to onchain prediction markets through a third-party integration,” a Binance spokesperson previously said, adding that the feature expands wallet functionality.

Still, the absence of direct regulatory supervision raises structural questions as volumes scale.

Coinbase and Crypto.com have already established footholds through partnerships and standalone platforms, respectively. Yet Binance’s fee sponsorship could shift user behavior if sustained, with the next catalyst likely tied to whether regulators move to classify or restrict access to such markets across key jurisdictions.
