Binance Unveils Live Trading Feature to Revolutionize Interactive Crypto Education and SocialFi

Binance has launched a groundbreaking feature—Live Trading—on its social platform Binance Square, aiming to transform how users engage with crypto markets through real-time education, social interaction, and direct trading capabilities.

The newly introduced feature allows users to join livestreams hosted by verified creators and place Spot or Futures trades directly within the session—no tab-switching required. This seamless blend of learning and execution removes traditional friction points, making the trading experience more intuitive and interactive for users of all levels.

“Live Trading is designed to make trading more accessible, interactive, and engaging… It’s a natural evolution of Binance Square,” said Jeff Li, Head of Product at Binance.

During livestreams, participants can view and engage with pinned strategy cards that offer a snapshot of each trade’s details—such as the asset pair, trade direction, and position size. This integration of visual strategy and immediate execution offers a fresh take on crypto education by marrying commentary with action.

Empowering Verified Creators

Verified content creators are central to Binance’s Live Trading ecosystem. Those with over 1,000 followers gain access to enhanced monetization tools, including up to 50% commissions on referred trades and the ability to showcase up to 100 of their past trades. An Incubator Program also supports emerging strategists with visibility boosts and structured onboarding.

This model positions creators not just as entertainers or commentators, but as practical guides offering real-time insights and financially actionable strategies. It’s a model that rewards transparency and experience—while giving audiences tools to learn and act simultaneously.

A Shift from Speculation to Structure

Binance’s move reflects a broader shift within the SocialFi landscape. While platforms like Pump.fun pioneered livestream-enabled trading with high-energy, meme-driven content, they faced criticism for lacking moderation and transparency. In contrast, Binance’s solution emphasizes structure: verified participants, risk disclosures, and direct integration with regulated trading systems.

By moving away from hype and toward educational value, Binance is helping SocialFi evolve from its chaotic origins into a more sustainable, trust-based model.

The Rise of Creator-Led Trading Ecosystems

Binance isn’t alone in this transformation. Decentralized initiatives like COOKIE DAO and Kaito are also driving forward the vision of monetized, creator-led information ecosystems.

COOKIE’s recently launched COOKIE Snaps enables decentralized news sharing with personalized feeds, while Kaito is blending AI, social signals, and tokenized rewards to elevate the role of content creators in Web3.

Together, these developments suggest that SocialFi is entering a new era—one where education, participation, and monetization are tightly integrated. Users are no longer just passive consumers; they’re active participants in a creator-driven financial web.
