Boyaa Interactive is taking a bold step in its Web3 strategy, embedding Alchemy Pay’s fiat on-ramp into its blockchain-based poker game, MTT Sports. The move, announced on August 27, enables players in 173 countries to buy into Bitcoin-denominated tournaments directly with credit cards and mobile wallets — bypassing the need for crypto exchanges.

Traditionally, one of the biggest hurdles for mainstream gamers entering Web3 platforms has been the requirement to purchase cryptocurrency before participating. By integrating Alchemy Pay’s infrastructure, Boyaa eliminates this step. Players can now seamlessly acquire MTT tokens, the platform’s native currency, using everyday payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard, and mobile wallets.
For Alchemy Pay, the partnership represents a strategic foothold inside a publicly listed company’s digital asset expansion. For Boyaa, it’s a test of whether blockchain-powered poker can scale if onboarding friction is removed.
Poker Meets Blockchain
MTT Sports is designed as a Web3 Texas Hold’em hub, offering free-entry tournaments with prize pools denominated in cryptocurrency. Boyaa seeded the venture with 100 BTC in tournament funding, giving it immediate weight in a competitive online gaming market.
The company has since invested an additional $4.18 million USDT to acquire MTT tokens, bringing its total stake in MTT ESports — the game’s developer — to nearly $10 million. Importantly, MTT Sports is not a standalone experiment but part of Boyaa’s broader gaming portfolio of around 70 online titles.
Access to a Global Player Base
With more than 530 million registered players across 100+ countries, Boyaa is positioning MTT Sports as a potential gateway to mass Web3 adoption. The Alchemy Pay integration could allow the firm to redirect a slice of its traditional audience into its blockchain ecosystem with minimal barriers.
Bitcoin at the Core of Boyaa’s Strategy
Beyond gaming, Boyaa has made Bitcoin a central pillar of its corporate strategy. The Hong Kong-listed company has steadily accumulated the cryptocurrency, recently purchasing 3,670 BTC worth roughly $33 million. Boyaa describes Bitcoin as an “important foundation” for its Web3 transformation, not a speculative bet.
According to the firm, Bitcoin will serve as a strategic reserve to support ecosystem development and long-term sustainability in the digital economy.
